No, it's not fair to men, but then again, I don't have a problem with "sausage parties".

In the sense of "ladies get in free on Thursdays," I don't think it's fair. I don't think it's illegal either, but it's clearly not fair to men.

I am entertained by clubs that do "anyone wearing a skirt gets in free" or "anyone wearing high heels gets in free" nights. It's still clearly geared towards women, but there's always some dude that comes in a skirt :)

I don't see why a guy would find ladies night to be unfair. They should be happy. The bar is bringing in all the women for them. The guy filing the lawsuit is probably some poor 40 year old virgin that lives with his mother and would never stand a chance with even the skankiest of girls in the bar, he's just bitter.

YES, in one respect because we don't make the same money as men.

NO, in another because it's sexist in that it is a way to attract women to make the men happy.

Let's all just not show up for Ladies Nights and see what happens women. Maybe we can hold out and actually get PAID for showing up, now that's what I'm talking about!!!

I can see how someone could assert that it's discriminatory, but it’s really just a marketing concept. Discrimination would mean that they’re charging men more, but that’s not the case – they’re charging women less so they’ll come to the club, which will bring the men. I think that fact indicates that it’s not true discrimination.

yes. They mostly give us "ladies night" becuase they want us to get there early and get drunk so that the men have a better chance with us.

But that doesnt work for all women

Not really. It's sexist. I'm no feminist. I just think that women shouldn't rely on men to buy their drinks and pay their cover charges. The more that men continue to do it, the more often you will see those advertisements for ladies' night.

Yeah, why not? Haven't women been discriminated against enough in history? And now they want to try to take something else away from us? Men have always had their drinking and they always brag that they work SO hard. Well you know what? They can pull a few dollars out of their fat wallets and pay for their damn drinks or just don't go drink at all!

Of course. When the ladies come, the clubs get paid because more guys come.
