They SHOULD bring it back. It's the only show A&E has. Now they just run reruns of CSI Miami constantly. They're ridiculous for pulling their #1 show.

This is a statement that was pulled off of the A&E websight that I have listed below.
In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take Dog The Bounty Hunter off the network's schedule for the foreseeable future. We hope that Mr. Chapman continues the healing process that he has begun.
I really think that it is unwise to pull the number one show off the air because he said something that was offensive. I do not say the "N" word... But as someone from Texas I am constanly having to hear things like... REDNECK, HONKY, BUMPKIN.. and so on. All of which I spelled out by the way. Just as skin color plays no role in how smart you are or are not for that matter... The state you are from should not either... What I mean is if you are going to pull off a show that says a word that is commonly used by the ones it offends then we would have no TV left to watch outside of QVC, HSN, and the GOLF channel.

It doesn't look good as far as a return to A&E. They have pulled virtually every reference to Dog on the A&E website and the latest word is filming of the next season has been suspended indefinitely. Oh well. Maybe ol' Dog will pull a Don Imus and end up on another network once the storm has blown through...

his show was never canceled but A&E just will not show it now b/c of what happened. So unless another network pics it up fast we're gonna be waiting quite along time. But I think you can still pick up his DVD on ebay. For all you Dog fans that just can't wait to get your crime fighting fugitive fix. :))

I'd like to see them come back on, but with some changes. Beth needs to dress appropriately, and if they are as religious as they claim, perhaps cleaning up their language would be good.
