Losing a game is not going to make the Patriots and better team. In fact, should they run the board they will be included in conversations about which team had the best single season ever. It will not be a blessing for them to lose a game.

The only good thing about would be the endless "Pats lost a game proves they'll lose the first playoff game also" threads, because after the Super Bowl I'd be able to demand appologises from everyone posting them.

I'm getting to the point that I would like to knock out every lame dink that brings up cheating... did the Jets cheat in the playoffs last year? Tired of it! Get a new act!
And the answer is no. Please learn football and then come back to ask a real question.

Maybe... Maybe not.
Don't worry about whether they need to lose a game or not. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
