Generally, dolphins are carnivores eating shrimp, fish, and crustaceans.There are different species of dolphins and each differ with their eating habits.
Orcas or killer whale which actually is a dolphin eat seals, sea lions, penquins, sharks, sea turtles,birds, fish, whales and other dolphins.The Bottlenose eats fish, squid and jellyfish. River dolphins eat fish, crabs, and clams.
The baby dolphin drinks their mother’s milk at until 6 months of age. Then they start eating fish after weaning.
They do not fully sleep and eat at any time. Except the orcas, dolphins do not scare sharks but they are scared of being predated or eaten by sharks.
