I see some of the men complaining about ladies night, so would it be fair to also have a Men's night at clubs or bars. Would this make everyone happy?

Men have "Gentleman's clubs". There is a couple of those that do not let women in unless they have a male escort. This was to reduce down on prostitution.

No one should get discounts based on gender. I have been to plenty of crowded clubs that don't offer discounts.

The reason that bars have Ladies night is to get more women to come. The bars already have lots of men there. Even on Ladies night the men are there.

Some bars DO have men's nights...but having a 'ladies nite' or 'mens nite' is strictly a financial decision-same as 'happy hour' isn't during the normal busy time-it's when they would normally be EMPTY...the idea is just to get people IN the bar to SPEND MONEY. Green beer nites, free snacks nite, football nite-it's only to get you in there to spend money.
If a bar tried a mens' nite and no one showed up-they aren't going to do it again. Ladies nite-usually works because the guys can bring their girls and not pay for them-or pay half price-so it's a cheap date! Sorry, but it's true!

Poker night at a bar is like a Men's night. They have this sort of thing in bars all over the place.

Yeah, they can complain all they want. The day I make as much as they do is when Ladies Night should change!

Too bad for the men, what a stupid complaint, obviously they need something to really complain about.

Let them try being a woman for a day; low wages for equal work, higher prices for dry cleaning, usually don't advance as far or as fast as men and hit a glass ceiling in the process at work, more difficult to get a business loan and home loan, etc., etc. Cry me a river guys!

I don't think there should be either men's or ladies' nights, and although I'm not a supporter of age laws for drinking, I find it shocking that 18 year old women are allowed into clubs where men have to 21.

Imagine if they had "Black night" or "Jewish night" or "Polish night"- and you'll see what I mean.

The ones who are complaining about ladies night must not be there to pick up chicks. Ladies night is intended to attract more women so that it's not just a bunch of men perving on each other in the absence of women.

No they shouldnt have either, i dont have to go to bars or clubs to get women so i could care less. But on the point of equality, there shouldnt be a night thats set aside specifically for either. Women are going to support it bc thats how they get their free drinks, but they will still argue that they " have their own money" well if thats the case use it. The point is not whether women would come if it's not ladies night, its what is fair when it comes to equality. Women want equality and to be treated equal but not at the expense of losing the "perks" of being a women, You have to grow up one day ladies....

Ha. No. Men want to go where the women are. That's the whole point of ladies' night.

Men complain about lots of stuff. Its part of our male privelege, remember?

Nobody wants to be in a room full of drunk guys unless there's sports.

No. lol Ladies nights are to attract more women to bars, which in turn attracts more men.

It's like that one Dane Cook segment where he complains about how no girls go to the bar called Head. They're all down the street at T.G.I. Lick my .....
