or does it creep you out when people you aren't that close to touch you?
I would have to say I am a touchy-feely kind of person but I notice some people just get creeped out by it.

I am too! I think it might creep people out sometimes but you can usually tell when it offends people. I always hug everyone. I just think it makes people warm up to you faster but maybe not. I was brought up that way though, everyone in my family hugs and kisses everyone.

I didn't grow up touchy - feely so coming to NYC was a shock because a lot of folks that I've befriended here are ...
An ex of mine (He was Dominican and Spanish) had a VERY touchy, feely, kiss-on-the cheek family ... even coming home from the store was reason to break out in affection ...
It took getting used to for me .... but it isn't horrible.

I am touchy-feely with only my fiance. I do get creeped out when people that are not close to me touch me, I just think it is inappropriate. Hugs are good from everyone though! =)

I'm very touchy feely
Some people do get weird on you, so for those I just leave it alone
I think us Americans as a whole are a very stiff culture
We don't touch each other, we don't speak with our hands, everyone stands 10 ft apart from one another
In other places it's very different
