It is always a good thing to know how, or why people do certain things. Also, the motivation behind what people do. You may also want to take Child Psychology after your introduction Psychology class. Good luck!

Yes, you should take Psychology. In combination with physics and chemistry. Then you will know everything you want to know as a start.

In the need of specialization, psychology might well be infant psychology, pedagogical psychology.

If you are taking it for a career move or because you like it... that's fine.

But many people take psychology because they want to know what's wrong with them.. so if you are wanting to self-analyze.. you'll never be happy with psychology as a career.

Just be honest with yourself and pick from there.
