There is a risk involved with taking birth control pills as with taking any other medication. However, if you are relatively young and healthy, the risks involved should be minimal. Of course you should consult with your physician before you start a birth control regimen.

if you are crushing them, and placing them in a liquidthen the only risk I can see is the fact that you may NOT be getting the full intended dose. I wouldn't reccomend doing this, as you may not be fully protected if you chose to have unprotected (ie no condom) sex.

if you have an aversion to swallowing pills there are other options such as the patch, impant, shot, or the ring.

How do you "drink" birth control pills? Do you crush them and dissolve them in liquid?
