religons and science have only given us theory's and not one shread of evidence. why do we latch on to one theory or another and defend it with endless debate? and if we ever do find out the truth wouldn't you think we would probally stumble on to it rather than debating our way into it. do you stand fast on your belief of where humans come from?

I admit we know less than we know - and always have.

Religious people seem to think nothing as complex as life could be built from matter, and that would be highly improbable and very rare and random to just occur out of nowhere. But the only things in the universe that can think about life itself - are living, so right there we would never know our existence if we weren't alive. There is not one single theory on how life formed that may be correct, but it comes down to two possibilities - A God that was just floating around in nothingness and made the universe, or matter forming a first reproductive cell. I'll go with the latter because the universe is so big that it's not even by chance that life has formed.

Well, since you put this in the psychology section I'll give you a psychology answer.
Some people can admit that they don't really know. This is a sign of emotional maturaty and adulthood. An emotionally mature adult person can handle the idea that we live in a mostly unknown, unpredictable world.
Others, because of some kind of arrested development, have an enhanced need for security. The idea that they have the world all figured out offers them security and anxiety reduction. An unknown, unpredictable world is anxiety provoking. A known, predictable one feels comfortable and secure.
Another reason for having it all figured out has to do with narcissism. People who have narcissistic issues need to feel special. This need is born from their parents failure to make them feel special when they were young. If they can convince themselves that the way they see it is better or more truthful than others, then this is one way to get some of that special feeling.

???

Science has much more than one shred of evidence, it has tons of evidence.

Whoever told you science has no evidence really told you a whopper.

According to that evidence, humans developed in Africa, and later, some went to the other continents, over a long period of time.

We cant all admit that we have NO idea of where humans come from because many people have SOME idea of where humans came from, for example scientist have some proof that thing evolve, of course not all of them are CERTAIN that thats where we came from but that is their idea, so they dont have NO idea, do they ? :]

Curiosity to find out the truth is natural.
Admitting we failed to find out the truth is admitting failure .
