sometimes i believe so.
it bothers me that even the workplace is becoming increasingly intrusive (although, i understand employers' concerns)
it's a fine line...how much of a trade-off are citizens willing to make? no definitive answer, i suppose.

Security cameras have very little to do with providing extra security. They only record the actions of individuals.
They do, however, provide good evidence when trying to convict a criminal of criminal acts.
Extra security would be gun turrets mounted with the cameras.

Security cameras are not normally placed where privacy is to be expected.

Every public street corner, shopping mall, hospital, school, highway, etc should have a camera monitoring them.
What you do inside your own home should be free of cameras. That's it.

Not at all. The only place you are entititled to privacy is in your own home. Every public place is just that, public.

i think so, but that's mostly because i do illegal stuff. but i mean so does everyone every once in a while. i think having a camera record it takes it to a new level. like, if nothing you did affected anybody, but the camera still saw, is that fair?
