Before I discovered Adolescent, I used to spend a fair bit of time in other sections. In those sections, they just asked and answered questions, but here we seem to have this little community.
Like the fact that we've made "celebrities", ie Nikki Sep, Wabby, Baking Master, etc. And everyone talks about them and has opinions about them.
It's cool but weird at the same time, I mean, no one even knows each other in real life, yet we've built a little society where we all think we know each other. And we're all hidden away under a section that everyone thinks is about pregnancy and parenting - because that's what it's called!
What do you think? Weird, inevitable, interesting, revealing...?

I think it does happen in other sections in well (such as P&S), but I believe that there are a lot of infantile trolls who call attention to the top answerers and contributors in this section. It is a lot of unwanted, negative attention. I don't know if it is because this is the Adolescent section, and I just expect too much in the way of maturity or what it is. There are just these times when trolls are out of control and instead of focusing on the REAL people with REAL problems, the attention is being put on individual answerers. I can't stand it.
I don't think that I know anyone on here. I understand that this is the internet. I ahve many contacts that I email with or IM with....But I know that I don't truly know what they are all about. Just as no one else on here will ever truly "understand" me.
But anyways, it seems that I'm just kind of ramblihg here, sorry :) I DO think this happens in every other section. After all, if you are a top contributor, you're on here A LOT, so people will know you. I just think that this section has WAY more trolls than any other section, and that makes us lose focus on the whole point of YA.

that's kinda like jeopardy. you're able to write a query that would extra healthful the respond. occasion: you're exceptionally. question: Am I exceptionally (photos lined)? Quiz: a million. Take a being pregnant attempt. question: Am I pregnant!? OMG. like all of us understand if your pregnant or not. 2. sure. question: would i glance dumb with a mustache? 3. No. question: could i be a sort. 4. you're too youthful. question: 5. I hate people like that too. question: ah! stupid highschooldrama? 6. Adolescent section. question: huh ? 7. i've got self assurance it extremely is faulty. question: is it incorrect to have intercourse at 15? *solutions would selection. Be innovative! this may well be puzzling yet i attempted my terrific to describe it. = ) 10 minutes in the past - 3 days left to respond to. extra info 2 minutes in the past right here i will supply you men one when you consider which you don't comprehend. sure. question: Do you like chocolate? Do you think of 13 12 months olds could have a cell telephone? Do you have a Wii? there are quite a few questions you're able to positioned that would extra healthful with the respond.

I somtimes feel a little weird in here because I am 30 years old but I see these kids asking real questions that for some reason they can't ask their parents. I kinda feel like I am performing a community service by giving straight forward information and advice. God knows I could have used some when I was a kid.

Yes this goes on in the Reality television section it's brill for all the reasons you've given makes the site more enjoyable and were really defensive of each other if someone comes in and starts upsetting one of our contacts we all take it personally, we normally sort it out then they join in too lol

it's also very big in the religion and spirituality category and polls and surveys. if you go hang out there, you'll found out real quick who the main people are because they always get made fun of, talked about, etc. i think the religion is the biggest one for this.

Think it just happens everywhere, if the same people are on certain topics everday you get to know who the regulars are, if no-one is gettin hurt i dont see the harm in it

cool i never thought about it that way. but no it really doesnt go on like this in other sections but your right, it is like a little community.
