Because we live longer. I'm not elderly yet and can still take care of everybody.

I think they both need care. I have never noticed that elderly women have more issues than elderly men. I work with the elderly and both sides need just as much care. True some elderly people can do more than others, but I have both genders that are equally frail.

Elderly women live longer than men, you basically said it yourself.
I think over all men are needier, cannot do much for themselves because they relied on a woman most of their lives to do things for them; cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc., etc. So, when their wife dies, they don't last too long on their own, they don't try to learn how to take care of themselves, they usually just marry someone.
I came to this conclusion while living in places with a high elderly population and volunteered in a convalescent hospital.

possibly it fairly is the place you reside. i'm outdoors of Detroit and lonely previous human beings are available all colorings right here. Heck my grandpa purely frolicked in an elderly facility for rehab which replaced into loaded with as many races with the aid of fact the Olympics. All Races have people who do and don't take care of their elders. you're the two attempting to troll or blinded via racism. the two way thank you for the two factors

They do not. Men notice less information about their health needs, according to the BBC source below, becuase health information isn't available in pubs. Many men neglect their health care. Women's health activism and women's activist/feminist groups have done a good job of educating elderly women on how to keep in good health and encouraging many to do so. Men need to educate each other on health care needs over all age groups and encourage men to maintain their health. For more information about men's health issues, check out the sites below.

Okeeee...is it 'unsubstantiated proclamation' day? Nobody informed me. OK, I'll play along:
Raj wears tutus and prances to ABBA songs and Mike has a massive crush on Rosie O'Donnell.

They actually do need more care (as anybody who frequent retirement homes, which would probably exclude most feminists, can attest). It's because women live longer and therefore require more care (in terms of time).

why do you assume women need more care? please, fill me with your great knowledge.
EDIT: women live longer because they typically have less ailments to deal with.
