I still hang out with my best friend that I knew back since kindergarden. There's really only one person I hang out with from high school now and that's my ex-girlfriend. After high school I met plenty of people along the way (especially since I played in some bands) and I really only hang out with 2 or 3 people from those days. But, there are a few new people that are around here and there that I recently met so someone new seems to pop up now and then. Also, someone from the past sometimes pops up once every while that I run in to. Good question, by the way.

Well, I hang out with people I have known for over 10 years, but anyone before that time lives in the state I used to live in.

As my life has evolved, so have the people I hang out with. There are a few from highschool but most are from the past 10 years or so.

umm, Well my bff has been my bff since the 6th grade, so she's always been in the picture. But, I have other friends that I had to stop hanging out with, cuz some ppl u just out grow. I have 2 friends that I used to hang out with in HS..we were like the 3 musketeers..but, after HS, they both had kids, so we kinda just drifted apart. Not because they had kids, but because everyone just started doing their own thing u know..we still talk once in awhile though. and others i just cut off completely, cuz the way they are living their lives, is the way i wanna live mine. some ppl just hold u down, so in order to prevent that from happening to me, I just keep my distance.

I went to college in the same county I graduated school from. All my core friends, save for one or two, are still here too. I hang out with them probably even more than I used to. It bothers me, people that go off to college, ditch their old friends, and hang out with the new friends more than the ones who were "true blue" throughout their entire childhood.
Some of our friends have branched out, but my wife and I hang out with a small core that have always been our best friends.

Its been my experience to enjoy your relationships in the here and now because as life moves on everything changes, your job, health, location, children responsibilities, new interests, new time structure, etc. and ofcourse when something changes usually new people come into your life. No complaining about that, but less time is available for others. Now if you really value your relationships, you treat people as good as gold, even if you have to explain you have less time to keep in touch! Your memories will be warm ona cold night when your old and gray! from an old lady

I hang out with new people. I moved to NYC not too long ago for work and have met a bunch of new people. I still talk to my old friends but since I moved I don't get to see them much. I miss them terribly though. :-(
