theoretically all the other 29 teams welcome his arrival, yet the best fits (and logical fit in financial means) should be:
1) cavs (though absorbing hughes contract is stupid but gooden is a great pickup), or
2) lakers (yes odom should be sacrificed in this regards but it is good to get farmar in return to push marcus williams to deliver night after night).

The Cavs desperately need someone to run the point and Kidd would be a perfect fit. But the team has zero depth and there is really nothing of tremendous value that can be worked out now (Larry Hughes and five stiffs to NJ, for example). Look west to the Lakers or Clippers as clubs that may be able to package a deal together.

HE would be a good fit in pretty much any team...he and Kobe would be good Kidd would give up the ball to Kobe for open jumpshots. the Lakers dont NEED a pointguard bc Fisher, Farmar have been great this year n the NEts want Bynum which the Lakers dont want to let go

Gotta say the Mavs. Get rid of JT and a couple others and match up Kidd's perfect passes with Dirks perfect shot. Match made in heaven.

the lakers or cavaliers. both are similar situations and both need help at the position and would reasonably challenge for conference titles with kidd.

Kidd is a good player but he is too selfish to be on a good team. He needs to have the ball in his hands to be effecive so he would not work well with a superstar like LeBron or Kobe. He needs to be on a team with strong role players needing a leader. My best guess is Seattle. They have a lot of young talent but need some leadership.

Houston Rockets, we have 5 point gaurds that all suck and can't pass. Its sad when you have two of the best players in the world and can't get them the ball. In fact, I'd take Kidd and your first round draft pick for T-mac.
