there are many things that are 'sexist' in this country. the club situation and early bird special are the least of our problems. how about focusing on more important sexist issues say in employment.

hi Scottish, good question and definite I study the full project. Yea i assume its a splash sexist yet so is a guy getting paid extra for a job than a woman in simple terms because of the fact he's a guy. that still happens If the cheap drink is what the girl wanys and gets her and her acquaintances interior the club, thats good...then the guy sees each and all the ladies interior the club getting sloshed on each and all the cheap beverages and then they have a extra physically powerful probability of having what they choose...the girl. So I say every person is chuffed and NO, the guy shouldn't get the cheap drink too because of the fact they are getting what they are in there for, the girl, not the cheap drink. And as nicely we ought to have those darned sessions and beginning the youngsters so provide us our women folk night.

The reason why establishments do that is not because they just really like women, and want to give them a free night of fun. It is because their patronage is predominantly male, especially when they try to charge women a cover to get in. They try to offer women an incentive to come out by letting them get in free. If they can't get women in the club, the men will stop showing up, and there goes the business.

Yes, I think it's sexist. If I went to a club on Ladies' Night, I'd make them take my money.

I just asked the same question and, yes, it's sexist. I think the rationale was that the men will come if the ladies are there and the ladies will come if it's free but it was sexist.

While I do agree it's sexist, it is a marketing gimmick. Honestly, just make everyone pay a reduced cover.

The only way it's sexists is that it is a way of attracting women to make the men happy.

Fraternities in college do the same thing, and yet something tells me that they aren't sexist against men.

Yes, it is sexist, but you should talk to the men who promote it. It's not a feminist thing.

Like the article says " It is as sexist as early bird specials."
I agree that these bars are just trying to attract women, after all...what man wants to go to a bar and it turn out to be a sausage fest?

I have to say that I have witnessed some frivolous lawsuits in my time, this one takes the cake.
