When sportscasters who are supposed to be calling a game talk about one person or one team for the entire time. Whatever happened to actually CALLING the game? What do YOU think?

I just thought "frost your nuggets" was appropriate for the weather. We got almost a foot of snow yesterday.

YES, try being a Detroit Lions fan. Sometimes I have to turn down the volume on the tv and listen to a fan friendly radio station. Good call!

Joe Buck from Fox has a man crush on Brett Favre.

uummmmm....what kinda of nuggets? But yes....sportscasters spend more time yakking about nothing than calling the game. The Radio ones still seem to do OK though.

yeah it's irritating.
I understand the homers, it's their job.

What drives me crazy is when they will go on and on about some player, because he made 1 play. They only waiting for him to retire so they can enshrine him. And the rest of the game the guy is toast. So they don't mention him again.

Or they go on and on about a guy. soon momentum changes and it's the other guy/team that they go on and on about.

Ugh, just give me down, distance, time and score.

How about "sportscasters" who obviously HATE one team and are not shy about it? Or when they do talk about the actual game, they just mindlessly ramble because they are incredibly OLD?

Yes, Madden, I'm talking about you, you Steeler-hating old coot!

They seemed to be more interested in Andy Reid's kids and crap like that, than they are the game. It's like watching freaking Entertainment Tonight! I turn down the volumn and listen to the far superior radio announcers instead.
