I am on a classic movie kick, can anyone recommend a good classic movie? Maybe one that isnt as well known? Or just your favorite classic movie. I am looking the 30's-50's era.

Some of my favorites are: Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Roman Holiday, The Philadelphia Story, Bringing Up Baby, Its a Wonderful Life, Woman of the year. I've seen all the Bogie & Bacall, Hepburn & Tracy movies, I really enjoyed those too....

If you want a comedy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To the Forum, is a good one. It's and old Mel Brooks classic.

I'm a huge Alfred Hitchcock fan. I would recommend Rear Window, Vertigo, Rope, and Strangers on a Train.

If you have an inclination towards good and "proverbial" film.

You would surely be left scratching your head about the way Stanley Kubrick uses the camera in this film.
