Remember that the MVP is the player most valuable to his team - not always the player with the best stats or on the winningest team - although that doesn't hurt.

I problem with Most VALUABLE Player is that you're basically grading a team's back-ups. Brett Favre has a much better back-up than Tom Brady, so if Favre got injured it wouldn't hurt the Packers nearly as bad as it would hurt the Patriots. This, technically, makes him less "valuable". That's why most sportswriters disregard the literal meaning of MVP and vote for the player who had the best season. This year, they will vote for Tom Brady.

Brett Favre, look at how much support he has compared to Tom Brady and still putting up good numbers and this is the main reason i pick Favre plus who would of thought of the Packers doing so well as the Pats most sort of knew due to the addition of Randy Moss,Wes Welker, and Stallworth. Don't get me wrong the Packer's Coach is doing great with play calling but Brett is on the field launching bullets between defensive backs with mediocre and upcoming wide receivers in the NFL like Greg Jennings.

Brady, Favre, or Adrian Peterson. Those are the 3 that will most likely get it. Sad because I think the player that has helped his team the most if Brian Westbrook. He is the Eagles offense. And with last night it shows how much of a team player he really is.

Voters are more impressed about stats than who is really most valuable to his team. That's why Manning, Alexander and LT won it the last 3 seasons.

So, this time they will give it to Tom Brady.

David Garrard, without him, the jaguars lost 2 of 3 games, and the only win was barely against a crap team.
