I saw it a long time ago when I was a kid. In the movie a husband and wife are poor. She wants some hair combs for her long beautiful hair and he wants a watch chain for his fathers/grandfathers pocket watch. They decide not to get eachother anything because they cant afford it. But he sells his pocket watch to get her the hair combs and she cuts her hair off to get him the chain for his pocket watch.

The Gift Of The Magi is a story originally by O. Henry . I don't know what movie they made but you can read the story here. It really is a beautiful story.

ohh ye I remember that one.
They did one involving Mickey mouse and Minnie mouse.
I can't remeber what its called.. but its pretty good.
