Yes, when they bid on the prize, the person that comes closes to the actual retail price wins that prize when getting on the stage. And yes, they do recieve the winning prize.

yes. and they get to pay taxes on it ,too,
whether they like what they won or not.
but if you don't want it , you don't have to take it.
but if you take it - you could always re-sell it ,
so i'd take it , even if i didn't like it.
but then, i'd prolly never get around to selling it
so it would just sit around and collect dust ,
until it was SO dusty that the cats would think
it was litter from the little box ,
and pisss on it ,
and then, THEN!, i'd have to throw it away.
AFTeR i paid the taxes on it.
