Joe Lieberman now an independant, formally a Kennedy Democrat came out in support of McCain for President.Would a McCain/Lieberman ticket be the best of both worlds?

I'm looking at previous answers, and I have to wonder how someone came to call them "two pacifists"

John McCain fought in a war,and Lieberman has been a strong supporter of the Iraq War. It's the main reason he's now an "Independent",because the party that's so obsessed with being "tolerant" of different opinions tried to jettison him for having a different opinion.

As for them both on a single ticket,I would like it,except for McCains extremely weak stance on Illegal Immigration. But it's never going to happen.

i think of a McCain/Lieberman cost ticket would be wodnerful! i will think of of no opponent less complicated to defeat interior the final election. nicely, different than in line with threat a Romney/Giuliani cost ticket. shall we've a former torture sufferer who won't get up against torture paired with a genocidal Democrat who forgot his ideals -- or an on-lower back/off-lower back abortionist cultist paired with a thrice-married, go-dressing, continuously-abortionist. nice possibilities those! i'm thinking Kucinich could win the final at those odds. a number of you cons could keep in mind the entire turn-flop element from '04. thinking your purely possibilities are the two international-classification turn-floppers, nut-jobs, or broke -- i'd say you're in for a bumpy holiday. And thank god for that!

Oh hell no. I respect McCain but detest Lieberman. John has given a lot to our nation, but I respectively disagree with his current politics. Good man wrong time. Joe is a dufus who turned his back on his party for only political and self serving reasons. He is a snake at best.

Or the ticket with the highest age sum of the two running mates.

That was a dirty cheap shot and I'm sorry.

I actually like older folks, just not Lieberman. McCain isn't so bad.

I find it highly interesting. McCain/Huckabee as well. Mostly for one to break out and support a candidate so early on? It needs more research. I do believe in McCain. He is the only one I feel we can trust .
