Bush doesn't aknowledge anything unless it is good for Bush to do so.

People quote meaningless stats such as the "unemployment" stat. They don't care to know that the numbers only reflect people who apply for benefits. Also, they don't care to know that the jobs that are being obtained are low waged, poor benefits, with little to no pension.

No.

They are truly trying, but are using the Clinton's analysis of statistics to present skewed economic data.

I predict many people are going to be broadsided by the extra gift they get this Friday in their paychecks, layoff slips for all.

The government won't be able to present BS statistics for much longer as unemployment claims skyrocket and the year end sales figures hit.

By April 1, the number of bankruptcies, NOT due to "subprime" mortgages are going to shoot through the roof and the reality that a large percentage of Christmas season sales have been made on credit cards where people were pre-planning on filing for bankruptcy.

We have been in a recession for a long time, Wall Street doesn't have much longer to continue to believe that "all is well".

Welcome to the new America

Do you have a clue what a recession is or do you just like to P and M? A recession is three consecutive months of negative growth. What book or report do you read that says we have had that? I don't even hear Nancy Pelosi claiming we are in a recession and I don't think she is a Bush backer. And before you go all nuts, I am not a Bush backer either, but he has plenty of things to go against him without making crap up that has no defense against people who actually know what they are talking about. The war, spending out of control, never vetoing anything until Dems took over, saber rattling etc

The president of the United States has looked upon the fossilized remains of a creature that died 80 million years ago and adamantly proclaimed that the Earth was only about 10,000 years old according to the Bible.

I'm elated he can even pronounce the word "recession".

Recession what recession - War what war, oil, gas prices, foreclosures, loss of jobs, homelessness, poverty, no health insurance - Are you Kidding! Where in America - You must be kidding - Oh don't forget this one - we are looking for weapons of mass destruction - we are on the tail of Osama Bin Laden the Terrorist who had people fly into the world trade center, (but yet, we don't find him so we snuff out Saddam Huessin after we financed him and weapons program and had a good game of golf on my dad's ranch.) He was US enemy #1....so on an so forth....

It doesn't exist! Is what Bush and Company's responses are to the American Public.

The next election is November of 2008. Bush has already served two elected terms as President, therefore, he is not eligible to run for that office again - so I wouldn't say Bush & Co. The congress is run by Democrats and they have as much to do with fiscal policy (if not more) as the President. So you must mean that the & Co. is the dems, right?

And what factors convince you that we're in a recession, since the typical measures don't show it. We might "get into" a recession, but we're not there quite yet.

You have a better chance of seeign Santa Claus this holiday than having Bush and his crooked budies admit any wrong doing since they have been in office. They will lie to the grave.

It will be obvious by next summer. Then they'll start blaming it on the Democrat Congress. They never accept responsibility.

The motto of Skull and Bones and other Zionist secret societies is to never admit the truth; to deny everything. Bush will never admit the destruction he has caused to our Republic.
