He ain't going to the Patriots. He'll go to whatever team gives the Bengals the best in return. It likely won't be the Pats because they're not giving up first round pick for a 32 year old receiver probably no more than 3-4 years from retirement. If he is traded, he'll probably go to a team that is in desperate need of a top receiver. Maybe the Bears or Philly?

I think this all revolves on if the Pats win the super bowl. Moss is on a one year contract and not getting paid what he would like to, he took the pay cut to win a super bowl. If they win I think he will try to get paid more and sign somewhere else. If he does leave then i could def see the Patriots pursuing Chad Johnson. If they get close but dont win the superbowl then Moss resigns and there is no point in even trying to get Johnson. They have an amazing reciever core and do not need him.

NO New England should keep the pick. I'm a Patriots fan not bandwagon I have liked the patriots ever since Bledsoe was QB. I'm hoping for the 49ers to lose so the pick is higher and they get darren mcfadden. Imagine that. Him and Lawrence Maroney sharing the run or moving Maroney to FB. Or use McFadden at WR

I know this is a BS question ,but ill answer anyway
The Patriots are probly going to get rid of Daunte Stallworth because of Money commom sense you have a guy like Randy Moss and Daunte Stallworth both probly going to get $11 million next season which 1 you going to keep .
Chad Jackson's price tag would be to high fot the Patriots and they would'nt give up their 1st round Pick (via San Fran ) just to have a guuy for 1 year
because if they reworked the numbers and brought Chad in like they did Randy thats all you would have him for and you would be in the same boat your in now with Moss and Stallworth .
The 1st round pick (via San Fran) is to valuable a pick for Chad Johnson's services for 1 year

It wont ensue.. except the Cowboys completely abandon the working interest for a real West Coast offense, there is no longer adequate passes to make T.O. and Ocho Bozo valid threats.

He is one gigantic headache whose entire act is very, very old. The Bengals won't get max value because of his whining and the club may not be willing to dump him. The Patriots won't take him, as they are projected to use the pick for defensive help & there would not be enough footballs to go around offensively. His next gig will be having daily races versus broken-down cheap claimers at River Downs.

They don't need Ocho Cinco, they already have Moss and Welker plus Stallworth who is great when healthy.
They should keep the pick to upgrade the LB position.

Naw....they could probablt get him for a second round pick, and one slighlty used camera. (JK). I think Belichek can mold almost anyone......but if Chad can't be over the top, he stops producing. Cincyy is the best place for him, he gets to be himself (for better AND worse), they do have all the offensive weapons.......they just need to fix that defense and get some discipline in the locker room again. (I could almost see Carson or TJ leaving before Chad.)

To howdy 21, The 49ers should lose their next two game, making them most likey the second worst team. They are playing tampa bay and cleveland, both are desperate for the playoffs. Tampa bay is looking for a 3rd seed, and cleveland wants to get in.

that would create your AFC pro bowl team right on the spot
however i think that NE should keep their pick and go for another running back or a linebacker cuz we're gonna have to wait a long time if we wanna wait for maroney to develop into a superstar running back and our linebacking corps is waaaaaay too old now we need some young gunz coming in
