Here are my top 4 QB's, not in any particular order. John Elway Joe Montana Otto Graham Johnny Unitas All of these guys had leadership, intangibles, were cool late in games, and they were winners. There have been a lot of great QB's to play in the NFL over the years, Luckman, Baugh, Staubach, Bradshaw, Marino, Favre, and now Brady and Manning. But I would take the four on my list above all of these guys for now.

of all the great bar room sports arguments, who the best QB is might be the toughest to answer, no professional team sport has changed it's landscape more than pro football, for instance, the league only played 14 games from 1960 until 1977 and played 12 games pre 1960, 14 teams played 95% of their games outside in cold weather conditions, no domed stadiums, no teams in sunny warm Florida, Texas, etc, there were no bye weeks, no chartered flights( Night Train Lane hated flying so he took the train to road games) you didn't return from torn ACLs( see Gale Sayers) defenses could chuck players downfield, they could kill QB's with hits to the head, forearms to the neck, then the league expanded to 32 teams, adding instant replay and all these absurd rules and putting dresses on these prima donna QB's making several hundred million dollars( the most Bradshaw ever made I think was 250 grand?? I am a firm believer that guys like YA Tittle, Norm Van Brocklin, Otto Graham, Sammy Baugh, Sid Luckman Bart Starr, Len Dawson, Fran Tarkenton, Roger Staubach and Terry Bradshaw could play with anyone today, these guys were football players and they were tough SOB's, but today's game is so much in favor of the offense it's completely impossible to compare eras. For what it's worth my top 10's would be-1Montana 2Unitas 3Elway 4Brady 5Marino 6Manning 7Graham 8Favre 9Bradshaw 10Starr

I always thought that Terry could lead either team to victory in the four Super Bowls he won. Top ten? Without a doubt.

I am a Bradshaw fan, but I would have him in the #10-15 range. He got benched several times during his career for being ineffective. He seemed to always come up big in the playoffs though. Having that defense really helped him too.

I'm a Pats fan, but I like other teams / players in the NFL .. (I always rated Terry Bradshaw as one of my favorite) I thought he was a great Quarterback, but he has stated that he was not ... he had great receivers .. all he did was throw the ball ... I still think he was one of the greats

I might, he had a pretty good career and won a number of Super Bowls. He'd be around #10, + or - a few spots.
