I don't see that as being a pet's name. My dogs are named Roxy, Sadie, and Lil' Bit and my cats are named Lola and Layla.
Definitely wouldn't use the name Britney for a pet though.

My folks named their German Shepherd Britney...they named their Britney Spaniel Suge.

Britney is a pretty name. But I wouldn't name my pet, "Britney Spears" though. I don't have a grudge against my pet.

i have a German Sheppard mixed with Ridgeback and my sister named her Eris after the Goddes of chaos and she really is chaos. the only time she can ome in the house is with a muzzle on because she rips everyting. My dad hates her behavious so much that he unofficially changed her name to Brittnay Spears when he is angry with her.

NO WAY ! that calls for embaressment and besides i dont think i would like to shave my dog thank you... plus my dog does not go humping every male she comes across, and does NOT put on a show that every dog thinks shes a complete sl*t....ha ha ha.. so never ever name youre dog britney please... the dog might commite suicide!

No, I don't really care for it enough to give my animals that name. I have Farrah, Louie and Leopold and my dogs name was Chelsea.
