I would say wrestling, because they never fight "for real", but then I remembered that wrestling is not a sport.......*ba, da, dum, dum, cymbal crash*.

What other sport do you think with would benefit from fighting during the game, other than hockey? Why?

PreEDIT: Sammy: Please don't bother answering this. We all know you hate fighting, and no one cares.

Definitely women's curling. I don't know why, but I just think that would be entertaining. Drop the brooms and go.

Without a doubt, golf. Just imagine Tiger getting major rage and knocking that dumb smile off Phil's face. It would be great someone would just throw down with one of the announcers.

A comical improvement to a hockey fight:

I was at the Hurricanes/Flames game on Friday and some of the idiots in the crowd started talking about fighting. In a commical responce I told someone that they are changing the rules in when two guys drop 'em, a steel cage will automatically come down from the rafters and it will become like an old Hulk Hogan - Zeus WWF match. I think one of the idiots may have beleived me, or maybe he was too drunk to care.

Baseball, not the bench clearing shoving matches they have now but true fights, man to man, one on one. I'm sure if the pitcher thought he was going to have to fight he'd be less welling to nail a guy deliberately.

How do you keep it one on one, bring in a third man in rule- automatic 20 game suspension.

Then I would watch baseball religiously.

Golf needs something. If not out and out fighting at least some body contact. Can you imagine?

Here's Tiger Woods lining up the putt that if he sinks will give him a victory today at Augusta. He's taking his time to get this right and .... oh Phil Michelson has hit him just as he was putting and Tiger is down and his ball is in the trap.

I like LITY's idea of women's jello wrestling.....yes...oh, my...

Lacrosse must bring back fighting. Over the past few years, it looked like the NLL have been clamping down on fighting, even though its game can overtake hockey with it. I haven't heard anything else from this lockout of theirs in the papers, but if it's getting low on funds with high players' expenses, they need to start fighting again with a hockey-style code of conduct. Come on, it's practically hockey on green felt and running shoes, with guys using their sticks as weapons to bash each other over the head. Higher scoring, and faster scoring, with the same penalty system. What's not to like? lol

Tiger Woods with 'roid rage maybe? lol

Elephant polo- there's two players on each elephant. They guys with the mallets could try to whack the other elephant's driver.

Hamster racing- Just watch them little guys beat on each other if one of them causes a crash.

Wheelchair Racing- think about it for a minute...

Lumberjack competitions- better fighting than going at it with axes and power saws.

Rhythmic Gymnastics- Just because they all need to be beaten. This is an Olympic sport???

Andrew- You got to see a great game with a great result.... Wish I was there. I'll be at the laffs game though.

but basketball could benefit from fighting. Hell, it needs anything it can get. Legal bodychecking would help a lot too...

Golf would be great. You'd have to think twice before going for that putt....
