Because TV & news editors are... because he spoke at the 2004 DNC convention (when they were GRASPING for anyone of color to speak, and get media attention.. as a party that does NOT groom anyone of COLOR, but fools its membership that they care about people of color...).

The Dems made a monster, in 2004 in Obama.. because he LOOKS great on camera, speaks very well -- but is an empty suit (in reality). He makes EDWARDS look viable. You have a guy here, that's written not one, but TWO autobiographies by the time he's 46? (yet, he's accomplished nothing, this side of being himself?). He was Barry for most of his life -- but now, he's Obama and the apple of Oprah's eye (she's needs that Chicago cred, too, you know). The DNC, newspeople, Hollywood all play the game.. as usual. CNN is in bed with HILLARY -- and should, in fact have already ENDORSED Hillary for how they cover the election and handle what's supposed to be Objective, not matter what's going on, on-air... but, Obama is also the UNDERDOG candidate that gets the attention -- something like Dean, last time around. But, just like Dean... he's an idea, and not a real strong candidate to be PRESIDENT. So, Hillary still lurks... Listen, the more you look -- you see Obama is a hybrid and an amalgam of 10 things. That has somewhat of an attraction, for the ultra-liberal.. who think it's "good" to have a bit of this (black perspective), and a bit of that (Muslim, Asian in his upbringing)... but, in reality -- he was raised by his WHITE grandparents in Hawaii... so, he has NO ATTACHMENT to anything, really. He's also an academic -- and so is cloistered to beleiving he KNOWS enough to teach topics, and profess to people (which is why he's so good at public speaking vs. debates!!!) -- but, he has NO EXPERIENCE AT DOING ANYTHING from working, running a business, running anything.. and went from teaching to a job as a Senator, without ANY accomplishment, but his face & appearance & manner?

* Meanwhile, Lieberman endorses McCain -- cutting through the nonsense.

* Al Gore is silent and out of this... (why?) I'll tell you. Because everyone used to call GORE AN EMPTY SUIT.. and here is is, vastly more interesting & accomplished than Obama... even by 1992 standards!!! (he must be pissed)

* Even JFKerry hasn't spoken his mind -- and been quoted or asked/hounded, and he's the last DNC superstar to run in 2004, right?

(Results? start getting used to saying "President Mitt". All Romney has to do, now is start taking the lead... and pick McCain as his Running Mate... and BOOM! Your President will have Kermitt for a first name.)

Excuse me for differing with you, but Ron Paul is the only candidate who has historically supported the constitution at every turn. He has his political education, has no skeletons in his closet, speaks the truth and supports the constitution as it was originally written.

Notice how the media ignores him and never mentions him as a viable candidate? That's because when he wins, he will give the country back to the the people and put the USA back on track with the Constitution of the US. Is it any wonder we never hear about his speeches and his resume'?

Ron Paul is the only chance we have at reclaiming our country.

it variety of feels that many in Missouri are bored with what the republicans have performed to this u . s . besides. “no one around right here likes the Republicans,” reported John Burt, a union chippie, interior the parking zone of a rustic Mart keep in De Soto, south of St. Louis. Mr. Bush “didn’t do no longer something suitable,” Mr. Burt reported. “He’s for the prosperous guy or woman.” Up the line at a Wal-Mart, Mike Bosler, a lager truck driving force, reported he concept Mr. Obama had “a extra effective sense for what it’s prefer to be from the important form of people.” “McCain purely sounds like he replaced into born and raised a prosperous youngster,” Mr. Bosler reported.

I am not drawn to Obama. Actually I am quite the opposite. It is scary to me how so many say he is a great speaker and is charismatic without talking about his record as a politician or the issues.

Special interest groups, coporations, and unbridled agressive capitalism run the country and not the elected "figurehead". It is a sad fact that this is no longer "Our Daddy's America". I have no interest whatsoever in the illusion of Government anymore. We have sold out and are continuing to do so to the detrement of the middle class, the outsourced and vanishing American worker, and the deliberatley squeezed agricultural industry. I will only vote for the candidate that will hasten the coming apocalypse.

Because he is black- seriously it's true. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but look at what we have come up with the last couple times around- rich white southern boys from prominent families and ritzy colleges that do nothing for our country but embarrass us. Obama is a young, black, city boy that is making us think that change is possible, and making us wish he had come along sooner. He is making us believe that you don't have to be the same as everyone else in order to be successful.

Who is "we all" because "you all" are putting your eggs in the basket of an unproven leader, a pretty face and zero backbone. Good look on that democratic nomination!
