--Life before the Internet was much slower paced. People weren't in a rush to communicate with each other or didn't need or want information as quickly as they do today. The Internet changed a lot of the way we communicate and the amount of information we have available to us at any given time.

--Computers in the future will be much more involved as they are now. You can see traces of this already - cars that sense other cars or can almost drive themselves (one can parallel park itself already). But with the advance of computing comes an advance in the way we communicate - more people will have broadband, digital cable, streaming music, VoIP, and multiple computers per household than they do today.

--Computers impact people's lifestyles by allowing for more communications and more information. Computers allow for instant messaging and email, for example, and technology allows those forms of communications to occur on other devices, not just on your standard desktop computers or laptops. As for information, there is a lot on the Internet that people either are looking for or are making available. Online encyclopedias, language translators, and social networking sites all have provided people with much more information than ever before.
