I'm going to flip this question around and openly violate a Y!A Community rule by asking YOU -- cite your sources?! To say I'm interested in where this subject originated from would be an understatement.
If you really want my A to your Q, though, I'll go ahead and say it may be possible. But then again not; I'm inhabited by a couple thousand demons (so says the ouija..and my dreams), and they've claimed it's a rarity among people to be possessed. I'm going to be on the fence with this one until I get more sources...

You know it! And these days the little dickens do a VERY GOOD job of preventing me from getting into very much mischief. The Demons who inhibit me are: 1. age 2. lack of money 3. health considerations 4. distance. All in all though, its a great life if one does not weaken!

I don't know about demons, but your body is inhabited by thousands of microorganisms.. chances are you have some parasites feeding off you as well..

sure, as of yesterday the four demons inhabiting me were wild turkey 101, budweiser, pizza, and nicotine.
