I don't know what "straming" means, but it sounds serious!
You should have a doctor look at that! ;)
Seriously, though, sad songs are in the ear of the beholder; some people will cry at anything, some never do at all. I can think of dozens of songs that will get me teary. But, I don't like being "manipulated"; if the song is sung solely to make people weepy, without there being a good "back" story to it (such as the true-life loss of a pet, spouse, etc), then I won't listen to it, again.
As for your song (no, not the Elton John one!), I didn't bother checking it out, but, hey, whatever rocks your boat!

Sad Songs: Music by elton john Lyrics by bernie taupin
Guess there are times when we all need to share a little pain
And ironing out the rough spots
Is the hardest part when memories remain
And it’s times like these when we all need to hear the radio
`cause from the lips of some old singer
We can share the troubles we already know
Turn them on, turn them on
Turn on those sad songs
When all hope is gone
Why don’t you tune in and turn them on
They reach into your room
Just feel their gentle touch
When all hope is gone
Sad songs say so much
If someone else is suffering enough to write it down
When every single word makes sense
Then it’s easier to have those songs around
The kick inside is in the line that finally gets to you
And it feels so good to hurt so bad
And suffer just enough to sing the blues
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say
Sad songs, they say so much

what about this one?
When a Blind Man Cries (1972)
If you're leaving close the door.
I'm not expecting people anymore.
Hear me grieving, I'm lying on the floor.
Whether I'm drunk or dead I really ain't too sure.
I'm a blind man, I'm a blind man and my world is pale.
When a blind man cries, Lord, you know there ain't no sadder tale.
Had a friend once in a room,
had a good time but it ended much too soon.
In a cold month in that room
we found a reason for the things we had to do.
I'm a blind man, I'm a blind man, now my room is cold.
When a blind man cries, Lord, you know he feels it from his soul.

Listen to "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber. Just about the most powerful instrumental there is.

"Streets of Heaven" by Sherrie Austin.
It's about a mom in a hospital room praying to God that her 7 year old daughter doesn't die.
Here's the chorus:
Well it must be kind of crowded
On the streets of Heaven
So tell me, what do you need her for?
Don't you know one day she'll be your little girl forever
But right now, I need her so much more
She's much to young to be on her own
Barely just turned 7
And who will hold her hand when she crosses the streets of Heaven?

Nope, saddest song ever is "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. He wrote it after his son fell off a balcony and died.
