The pizza will cook more evenly if you preheated it first.. that is the purpose of a preheated oven

I always preheat the oven. You need to preheat it to the appropriate temperature BEFORE baking or cooking anything. Otherwise the cooking times won't be accurate.

Preheating the oven gets it to the temperature that the food needs to cook properly. If you just stick it in the oven w/o preheating, it won't cook.

Preheat! Either that or the crust will get too done because of the oven heating up and the direct heat on the bottom!

Well my mom always used to say preheat the oven so that the first blast of gas would evaporate before you put your food in so that it doesnt get on the food...lol

But I dont think that it will cook any faster if its already in a cold oven. Ur still gonna have to wait.

I don't when I'm heating one of those Totino $0.99 pizzas up, I found they taste better when you don't preheat the oven. But for other things I do.

LOL. Although, it is a good idea, I rarely do it either. If I am baking or cooking something in the oven, such as a casserole or a meat dish, I might, but for a frozen pizza, I am like you...Hungry now!!! ♥

I normally just turn the oven on a few minutes before putting the pizza in....

OR I microwave me some pizza rolls ^__^
