Disneyland will be EXTREMELY crowded on December 24th and 25th as Disneyland is one of the most popular places to spend Christmas for Japanese.
You at least have to buy the ticket in advance or there is no guarantee that you get into the park on that day.
But if you go there on 25th, there is still hope as that day is a weekday (24th is a national holiday in Japan, not for Christmas but for Emperor's birthday)

It is going to be busy! Very busy! i went on a minor holiday and the line waiting times ranged from a nice and short hour and a half to a whopping 4 hours, with most rides being 2-3. That was a bummer, but on the other hand, there is no experience that can compare with the excitement of the crowd though.
To sum it up, it's a give and take. You will lose the amount fo times you can ride, but you will have a unique experience. I sugest going on a random Wednesday.

Tokyo is the capital of Japan, and the place where over 13 million people live, making it one of the most populous cities in the world but also, a big city to visit, find out more with hotelbye . Most of the city was devastated by the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923, and then again by the bombing in the WWII, however, Tokyo was able to achieve a remarkably rapid recovery both times. The main attraction of Tokyo is the Imperial Palace with its beautiful 17th-century parks surrounded by walls and moats. The palace is still in use by the Imperial family.

It's a good day to go as it's more or less just another day in Japan aside from the KFC and the cake. Maybe expats and young couples might want to go to TDL on Christmas Day, but most folks in Japan are really busy during the last week of the year.

why any business is open on Christmas day is beyond me. Is making money more important than giving the employees a holiday? you can bet your bottom dollar management wont show up for work. Stay home and spend Christmas with family or friends.

If you want to spend 98% of your time standing in line... there is hardly anything Japanese people do better than stand in line for hours. It's probably better to go on a weekday when most are working and there are less people.

You would be far better going to disney world in Florida on Christmas day the Japan disneyland is nothing compared to the USA one. Dont waste your time in Japan as the USA is a far better place to visit plus there is lots of other places to go in the USA. You can see Universal, Seaworld, Bush gardens, Space kennedy, etc, et, etc Japan has nothing like that.
