Yesterday, my hubby booked a Vegas trip for us for next week. He was supposed to book the Monte Carlo, but booked TI instead (long story). Anyway, instead of changing our reservations, we have deiced to just go with it and stay at TI since we've never been there. What's it like? How are the Restaurants, Casino, spa services, etc.? How does it compare to Luxor or Monte Carlo? Additional info: We are in our early (me) and mid (hubby) thirty's. We've previously stayed at Luxor. We don't gamble too much but love to walk the strip, people watch, see the shows, shop and try new restaurants. Will we like TI? thanks in advance.

TI is definently nicer than Monte Carlo and Luxor. The location is a lot better than Luxor, since you have The Mirage, Venetian, Wynn, and Caesar's within walking distance. It's a great place to stay. Have fun!

Though locals, we loved our stay at TI. Hopefully have have a room on the east side so you can watch the pirate show (ask for it when you check it). Mystere, the first Cirque de Solei show on Strip, is there and fantastic. Book your tickets now. I loved the buffet but there is a very nice restaurant and a cafe.

You are right next to the Mirage, a tram ride away. Across the street is the Venetian but the Palazzo won't be open when you are there. And kittycorner is Wynn and across the street is the Fashion Show. I loved our stay at Luxor but have not stayed at Monte Carlo. The casino is as a little bigger than the Monte Carlo but very nice.

People watch, for sure. Have fun.

As far as a hotel I like it better than Monte Carlo and a bit less than Luxor. The resturants are about average for the strip but your location is great. There is plenty of great food options at The Mirage, Venetian, Wynn and Casesars which are all less than a fine minute walk.

There are high end shopping malls at Caesars (which is the biggest), Venetian and Wynn. There is also a normal shopping center right next door.

If you like shows, I saw Love at the Mirage and thought it was great. I am not usually into that kind of stuff......but it was really cool.

It is fine. Great location and still a great place to stay. It does a bit crowded out front when the Sirens show is showing and you have to get around that at time. Since you like to walk the strip it is great for you. In the middle of everything. It is across the street from the Fashion Show Mall so you will enjoy that also. TI is short for Treasure Island for those that don't know. It doesn't have a pool but that won't matter this time of the year.

TI, Monte Carlo, it makes no difference. Both are in good locations on the strip, besides you are going to be spending very little time in your hotel room anyway.
Trust me you will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.

You really won't spend much time in your room, so where you stay doesn't make a big difference. Most of the hotel rooms on the strip are the same any ways (except suites).
