is it really better to give than receive? Do you expect anything back when you actually give a gift?
I give gifts with no expectation of getting anything back.

i enjoy both i love it when people like a gift i got them and i love to see them open it because i spend so much time trying to find the perfect gift for everyone. i also like to get gifts i like having something to open and be surprised about, but i don't expect to get gifts just because i give gifts its just a nice gesture

I think its better to give. Its the look upon the persons' face that is the gift. I dont expect anything back, though. If I did, people would consider me a spoiled brat. I dont wanna live with that on my conscience!

theoretically, that IS the defining spirit of christmas.
i expect nothing in return whenever i give a gift (any time of year).

I love to give! Its great to get presents, but I really LOVE giving them. I don*t expect anything from anybody!
