You are not wrong - the Congress was clearly elected to end the war, and they keep funding it anyway. In fact, people want the deficit spending to end, and Congress hasn't stopped the spending on anything. Also, the citizenry clearly wants an end to the illegal immigration, and they're not responding to that, either. I can't decide if Bush is threatening Congress or bribing them, but all of them have betrayed our trust.

Well, they don't serve the President. The reason that representation does what they do is the same as the reason your children do. It's a matter of incentive. The incentive isn't there to do what the public wants, because incumbents will be voted back in. So, don't blame politicians, blame voters.

You just like to put down our president 24/7, you never ask any positive questions or mention the good things he's done.
Violence down in Iraq at lowest level since invasion (so we can begin progress to stabilize the region, we successfully removed a dictator and threat to democracy despite the dems wanting to surrender. Thank Bush for not listening to their whining)
Job growth highest for uninterrupted period in history
More people working;less on welfare / A more productive nation

No, you're not wrong. In fact, what's scarier is that people - registered voters, people who claim to love this country - think that their job is to serve the President, rather than it being the President's job to serve us.
We have given too much glory to the President of this country. Gone are the days of people like Washington or Roosevelt, who led this country quietly and strongly. Now we have a self-aggrandizing chimp who rules with an iron fist and expects the biggest job of this nation's citizens to be avoiding slipping in their own drool as they blindly follow him wherever he leads them.

Capitulation getting you down? Your favortie party endorses it. The Democrats want to capitulate to Al Qaeda and Now the Republican. Your party lost two special lections and may lose a third. Julia Carson Died and her party here is fragmented. It must be tough being a Democrat now days.

1/3 of the population supports the President, and over 50% of Americans want to see stability in Iraq. Seems they are standing with the people on this one. In fact, I saw a poll showing, while the President remains around 33%, the popularity of Republicans in Congress has increased dramatically, while popularity for the Dems is like below 10%. Hold on, I'll go find it.

If they do, my best guess (or maybe hope) would be because the president is right, or maybe more correct? Seems hard to believe, but is a possibility. There's also the strong possibility we don't know everything.

Because they are all corrupt. This government is no longer for the people by the people. They are for each other. Politicians are putting the loyalty to the their party above doing the right thing.

How are they representing the President, when all they do is bash him?
The Dem's caused these messes and all they are doing is hiding it under the Bush.

They don't represent the President. They represent what's best for themselves. We need to vote them all out.
