Started Friday finished late Sunday afternoon. I lived through the 15th for the 23rd year and this year I claimed my right to do the right thing from now on.

It's been forever. I felt like I was going to cry the other day at work, though, but I didn't.
I'm a cashier and was ringing this lady up. Her total was $150.78, and she handed me $51 and said, "I'm going to pay some in cash and the rest on credit." So I subtracted the $51 from her total, and she started freaking out, saying, "NO! I wanted to be pay $100 on credit, not $99.78!" I apologized sincerely and said that I'd misunderstood what she had meant, and she said, "It's not big deal. I'll just go to someone who knows what they're doing next time." Her husband then said, "Come on, you confused her (her being me). It was an easy mistake to make." And the lady got pissed again and said, "NO! What I asked was simple, and anyone else could have done it, but we had to get in the idiot's line."
It was quite embarrassing, I must say, and I felt like I could have cried for hours, but I pulled myself together and kept working.
Oh, how I love people!

November 22 2007 at 1:30pm my second grand child was born! Happy tears of course! If we are talking sad tears, 2 yrs. ago when my cousin died.

don't laugh.... but, last wk on my way to work i heard that really sad christmas song about the kid wanting to buy his mom some christmas shoes (before she meets Jesus). i've heard the song before and i knew it was going to make my cry, but somehow i just couldn't change it. i guess i knew i needed the cry.

despite what people think, this is not a bad thing to do on an infrequent basis. my last one was about 2 weeks ago....

only when I'm really hurt badly....a few weeks ago my husband yelled at me because i didn't get him a glass of milk when he was 3 feet from the fridge!
I feel like a slave!
I cried with out his knowledge...jerk
