Yes... I'm only young (16) but itching to see more of the world. I've already travelled so much, I can't imagine staying in one place for the rest of my life. There's so much out there to do and see and experience, and life's just to short not to GO FOR IT. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to have a wandering lifestyle, I think you should grab it. Sorry to hear things don't always go well for you, but surely things go wrong on every path of life. The problem is wanderers will never know where to call home. I suppose I think where I was born is home, but after so long, you can forget and feel unbelonging... ok will stop rambling now. Anyway, yeah, and it's nice to know others have that wandering spirit too!

Though I was born under a constant recurrence of the Sun, but that doth help me just a little to stop me thinking like a wandering star. It is just that my thoughts are constantly recurrent too, resonating in frequencies to excel the symphony of existence itself. And it could be more that, a whole lot more in fact. It is just that I cannot be like anything else within the limitative nature of my matter, but in a world that is mine I could be a whole lot more. For instance a star, after being born in a certain nebula, would stay within his galaxy to start a solar system, for example, and whereby to nurture a host of planets and the moons. But one galaxy is no enough for me, as is neither the space of another galaxy placed next to yet another one. As when I come to wander, I wander free and large. Then being a meagrely star in a certain galaxy would do me no good, as I aspire to reach the edges of the known universe itself and beyond. I would like to look further beyond all possibilities into the regions unknown. I am the human mind, you see, and being a star would do me no greater good. I have better things in my folds. I send forth light, the light of the passion within that is what it is to make me what I am from an eternal source of light that shines across all great distances, far and yet not far away at all, within. This is the light that is for me to be, and also to be with wherever I might be, and wherever I might go. I will get my share of attention in due course of time.

I was dragged all over the world by my parents when I was young and hated it.
13 years ago when I was 35 years old I moved back to London and now am very happily settled approximately 1 mile from where I was born.
I don't even have a valid passport now, and couldn't be bothered travelling at all.
EDIT: I really like Param's answer below. I'm a bit like that too, I take an interest in a lot of things (via the net, reading etc) but I'm quite happy to do it from the comfort of my own home in London.

I find it very strange!!! My husband has seen almost all of Asia (China, Japan, Philippines, Mongolia, Korea, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Burma, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Bangkok, Hongkong, Malaysia, Iran), parts of Europe, and New Zealand. He travels First Class and stays in best hotels--all because of his job. He is, I'm certain, born under a Wandering Star.

Me, I've never put my step out of my country, never could accompany him on his tours because of my children and other responsibilities. YET, I feel I have seen the world---through my books, the globe, all maps and Atlas, and now through this wonderful tool in our hands...the Internet!!! I am a wanderer in my own right! A FIXED wanderer! I am happily wandering in this world and beyond in my imagination.

I think I was born under NORTH STAR...Its position being fixed, it helps other wanderers locate theirs...

Edit: Thank you Yarx! Isn't it a wonderful thing never to leave home, yet be free to roam!!!

I'm exactly the same :-( There's so much I want to do, see and learn in this life. I want to finish this degree, get my masters and travel the world! I don't know if I ever want to settle down in a job - maybe as a travel writer instead lol ;-)

No I was not born under a wondering start. I like to settle and build up on what I find.
