Absolutely not. Anyone who does that is a coward.

Barbara,
why not use text messaging to break up? People use it to send love notes (I can only speculate); however, text messaging is one form of communication. Yes, the personable part of this is removed - heck, it may actually be easier for some people to "break up" this way.

This isn't something I would use per se; however, if the tool for communication is there - use it. This way ugly fights and other obscenities can be avoided (at least temporarily).

Have a good day!

Gerry :)

That would depend on the length of the relationship. 2 dates, maybe, a 2 year relationship, no.

I have to admit I broke it off by text with a guy I'd been on a couple of dates with. We met online and a lot of the relationship had been either online or text (he texted me A LOT). I guess maybe I shoulda called him up instead.

i would have to agree with aussiemum. your husband cheated on u before u got married and u still married him. he is a very lucky guy that u forgave an decided to stay. anyway u have your evidence on if he is cheating on not. prepare yourself for the worst if you do call. you might not get he answer you want. as far as confronting you hubby. first off he is going to get upset because you went thru his phone. he probly start saying things like if you dont trust why did you marry or with me. or if i had something to hide i would have not left my phone in the house with you to check. expect lies. the only way is to call the girl and get your answer. but if you decide you are going to stay with him you are going to drive yourself crazy checking every little thing and find out more than what you wanted to know. nip it in the bud now. you cant stop him from cheating or watch him 24 hours a day. you cant enjoy life like that. but that is how i started snoopimg on my wife when see a dude name in her cellphone calling after hours. but i question her the same night that guy called. she gave herself away when grab her phone see if i answered which i didnt and decided to lie to me. i started with checking her phone records everyday, then could not stop there. i started checking her emails, and myspace account. an confronted her everytime i seen these guy number or name and it was a lot. any just wanted to let you know it will drive you crazy. i hope this helps you.

It is the worse thing to do next to calling him/her that it's all over. Technology has its way but it is not enough to convey the unsaid cues between those involved. How about trying video chat? LOL.

I think my answer would definately be no on this one. But I must admit to one time breaking up over the phone. During my lunchbreak. On a payphone no less.

LOL I wish I had thought of that. Probably would have been cheaper for me than buying ad space on the billboard that she drives past every day...

lol
