Hi:
I bring a lot of my plants in from the outside for the colder months. If you have them in containers already, bring them in and if they require sunlight, put them near a sunny window. Water them regularly, and you can feed them once a month.

If you are transplanting them from the ground to a pot to bring inside, I recommend to my clients to get a light weight potting soil. (no bark) Add some vermiculite and humas to the soil and use some warm water the first few weeks. This will help the root system adjust and go into shock. Water and feed the same as above.

I hope this has helped some and if you need any further help, please feel free to contact me at the website. I will link you to my simple solution section as well as my site map. My site map has everything that is one my site. Browse through these sections and see if you can find some more information you might need for your plants or any other landscape need. Good luck to you and have a great day!

Depends on what you have. Give them the light they need and water.
