1. In windows it is possible to create more than one profile. If at a time two or more profiles are open and you try to shut down then it will give you this warning.

2. Even in one profile itself if two or more accounts are open with different passwords, you get this warning on shut down. For example, if you have yahoo account open with your password and your friend's/family's or even yours, any other account(s) is open with different passwords, you get this warning.

3. If you are sharing files/folders with other people with different passwords, then you get this warning.

Now, see what is your position.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.healthboostpc.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

One of two things...

Either you have more than one account on the PC, and someone is logged on with one of the other accounts.

Or, you have a shared folder set up on your computer and someone else was accessing that folder at the time you were trying to shut down.

This us usually caused by an open (no password needed) account that you have created. If you are the only one using this computer, then just ignore this warning.

if your computer has more than one user account that might come up if one person tries to shut down while someone else is still loged in.
