I use a mirror, if someone is following me, and I want to be subtle. If I know them I look over my shoulder.

over my shoulder. I just can't use a mirror very well. I full on poke myself in the eye just trying to put mascara on, heaven forbid how many cars I'd write off if i tried reversing using mirrors!!!!!!!!

It depends what the situation is... in a dilemma i would'nt go rummaging through my bag looking for a mirror, it could be too late by then....so i would look behind me and start walking faster, then run like hell.......or kneecap the culprit in the knackers, then run....
