We help because to generalize and say little Muslim babies don't need help would be evil. I follow the definition of evil that says, evil is a lack of empathy or ill will. President Clinton helped Muslims in the old Yugoslavia when he bombed Belgrad and gave aid to Sarejevo (spelling). Just because some Christians are extremists, or Muslims, doesn't make all Christians or Muslims, bad and undeserving of help.

Thats the wrong question. The religious base of the continent os irrelevant. What is relevant is that the leadership of 90% or more of the continent is corrupt, inept and abusive. Interestingly, that coincides with self-rule.

All of Asia- in contrast, was granted independence later than Africa has flourished and is the fastest growing economic regions on the planet.

Indonesia- a national secular nation with majority muslim population- has successfully excelled in all measures of improving its' citizens lives and is curretnly exceeding India and China in economic growth. It just hosted a globally renowned climate conference in Bali- essily accomdating in excess of 10,000 delegates.

What can Africa muster to possibly compare?

I think that it is one world, and Africans are our brothers and sisters, as well as Americans. We are wealthier, and should be humane and help them. As for Israel, they have universal health care, and use our money on military to kill the indigenous inhabitants of the state.

Do you have any problem with the 30 billion a year in aid to Israel, who can't even stand on her own in all this time, after all the aid they received from other nations as well as us? Nations in trouble should get some aid in order to grow, and eventually be independent of the aid. Otherwise they should be gettiong LOANS. That's where we get it from, it's all loans with interest.

Because we have no problem with the Muslim religion. We don't like terrorists, and most terrorists today happen to be Muslim. That doesn't make all Muslims terrorists.

If we were fighting the Muslim religion, we'd have to get rid of a decent portion of America, too.
