i dont know but it sounds scary and hopeless..

hehe..try reinstalling windows..or try shutting it down first.. maybe it will help windows to refresh??haha..then if it comes back, reinstall windows.. or if you want you can use ubuntu..yeah..

it sounds like one of your system files is corrupted. Your going to have to repair XP/Vista or reinstall 95-ME.
