I would say that pictures are really good in frames. Michaels has some frames on sale for $2.50, they also have albums on sale for 30% off. Parents really like things like that. You can put some pics of them with you and your daughter. You can always give your husband coupons for things like his favorite dinner, a night out, back rubs, kisses, and other things that he likes and will like to do. (The plus to this, is you can pay for it later, when he wants to use the coupon, and not now) You could also make a box for things from when you were dating, things from you wedding, and things from about your daughter, a keepsake box. You could make your daughter a cute mobile out of felt from the craft store, and a dowel or a hanger. Michaels also has Xmas things on sale, you could paint some ornaments. Also, Target (here, anyway) has a bunch of baby clothes on clearance.
I know how it is to be broke, we just bought a house!
Good luck!

My co-worker told me about some crafts she made last year. She got some of those glass bricks. She cut a small hole in the back and stuck a small strand of clear light bulbs in and covered it with the wire type of ribbon but a twist to that would be to add some colorful tensile inside with the lights. I am going to do that project next year. All you need is a small hand held drill and a special bit to drill with. Hope that helps. Besides your family will understand that you have a baby and times are tight right now. So even if you don't get them a gift per say why not make them a nice personalized card. You can always do glitter and stuff. Merry Christmas to you. It will be fine.

You might consider stopping at a dollar store if you don't get any good ideas for crafts. I might have to do that too since I have to get gifts and I'm living off of savings right now. Good luck!

Try Dollar stores, or make things out of crafts, nice cards, picture frames (Walmart) with a picture of you and your daughter.
Good Luck, and Merry Christmas!!!

check out the mArtha Stewart site. They have a whole section devoted to hand made gifts. I'm making the candy jars, the bath salts, and the hand towels. Easy and inexpensive. Good luck!

Can you bake? Make them all a tin of cookies or a loaf of homemade bread, or maybe decorate a special ornament for each of them.
