Thus far all I see here are people who haven't played both games rather, they've just played WoW and are the typical WoW yahoos who think it's the ONLY game going and everything else is garbage even though they don't know any other games....
Having played both quite extensively, (I played Warcraft 1st) I no longer play Warcraft for a few reasons: Graphics on guild wars are much better / realistic. Guild wars missions / quests are more interesting than WOW. There's a lot less cheating going on in Guild Wars than WOW. I also find that Guild Wars players are a lot more friendly and willing to help out new folks or help you to build a new character. WoW people are more elitist and are apt to tell you to "not bother them" or call you a "noob". (Derogotory term for a new player.) Most importantly, once you buy Guild Wars software online play is FREE! (That "measly" $15 per month you pay for WoW equates to $180 per year and if you were to save that "measly" $15 per month you'd have more than enough $$$$ by the end of the year to own ALL the Guild Wars Campaigns and continue to play them for FREE!) If you're getting bored with Guild wars save your money and buy a new Guild Wars campaign. Don't know which ones you have but if you haven't tried Nightfall, you're missing out....It ROCKS!

word of warcraft man it still the best seller thought maybe guild wars but has not much stuff to do.

My friend has guild wars and she says that it gets kind of boring, it's all generic stuff. Same stuff every time she logs on.

WoW, but if you dont like the pay by the month fee, go for guild wars, but if you like TRUE BLUE KICK *** GAMEPLAY, go for WoW.
