I was just wondering.... how to pick a fight?

I was on the internet looking up different types of speeches for my Speech 1 class at the university and then I came across how to: pick a fight..... I was just wondering how to write a speech over that topic? I mean, it's weird but it is totally different too, I like it. Please help me. Thnx much.

I would advise against using that as the topic for your speech.

I dont think your prof would think its a good idea and you probably wouldnt get a good grade.

However, if you really want to give a speech on how to pick a fight, you could discuss several scenarios where a fight can break out such as:
-A bar
-A sports game (both as a player and a spectator)
-Road Rage
-Sexual Infidelity

Then you can talk about the actions that lead to the fight (both verbal and non-verbal).
Such as:
-Hate Speech
-Threatening Speech
-Invading someone's personal space
-Talking distance
-Voice Volume

If you want to start a fight with something then all you have to do is say or do something that you know will make the other person mad. That reall y sounds like you would have to get into the psychology and human behavior of it all to make a speech out of it. Good luck.

Oscar's answer is pretty good but don't forget two tried and true subjects, religion and politics. If you can't get something started in those arenas you must not be trying.

An invasion of your opponents personal space coupled with a comment about how F***ing dumb their religion or political stance is should do the job nicely.
