If for argument's sake conservatism was IQ related, this wouldn't help because then, MOST everyone would take it. That would give people with already high IQs even higher IQs and make them even less conservative. The conservative would just become less conservative in comparison. Also, you'd always have the handful of people that would stop drinking water and be left with starting IQ and they'd form the ultraconservative group.

I know a lot of smart people that are conservative though so, although I thought this was funny, I can't say that I think it's IQ related.

The truth is intelligence has not solved the world's problems. Intelligence has nothing to do with morality.

We probably should be interested in a drug which will increase the morality of people to change the world.

Is there a standard morality test?

Probably. But only because it would eliminate liberalism. Liberalism won't be needed once people are 90% more intelligent (liberlasim thrives on dumbness and laziness). So "conservativism" will not exist because it will just be the way of life.

According to my calculations, you'd need an increase of at least 127.36789% to completely eliminate conservatives.

Actually, isn't the Democratic platform about helping people who are "too stupid" to help themselves? Wouldn't this eliminate that "need"?

Actually, I think it would lead people to understand that the government can't play all parts for all people, and lead to a mass exodus from the liberal economic model, thus ending the Democratic party as we know it today.

Note: Key word - today. The transformation from the party of JFK and Bill Clinton to the current ranks of Socialist, Protectionist, class warfarists has been astounding.

It would change absolutely nothing.

Anyone who seriously thinks that this would make all people believe as they do is a close-minded dolt. There is no correlation between opinion and intelligence, only in the way its expressed and used.
