I'd have to admit : BOTH! I have had experience with both of these choices. When something seemed so true, that while I doubt it it, because of the opposite experience, it was getting better and better, till it surprised me with having been GENUINE That GOOD to have been TRUE all along!

I believe this is a figure of speech that people use because they don't believe that something so good could happen to them. And then if something doesn't go the way they want it to they will say i new it was to good to be true to lessen the blow of something failing.

I have found both situations true.
That is why I expect nothing and just am happy when things turn out good.

A guy. He seems too perfect for me, too good to be true in EVERY way. He's got the smarts, personality, charm, standards, a sense of humor, looks, great smile, deodorant..... there must be a flaw in him, somewhere.....

absolutely... but I've found that everything is not always as it seems.. In my experience anything that is too good to be true comes with sacrifice of some sort.

yeah .. I was wrong .. it wasn't true ... but it's still good ... earthly good => not good enough, I think I'll move on and keep looking for TGTBTBTA (Too Good To Be True But True Anyway)
