I believe they were created by God to worship him and do his bidding. Therefore he sends them to earth to help us humans in various and (no doubt) unforeseen ways.

Yessss, i broke my neck back in Aug....im supposed to be dead, but something was protecing me......I hit a Brick wall head on at 55 mph. It stoped me dead.....but i here alive and well...
