yes it can be driven but the anti brakes wont work bring it in and get it repaired so they work properly

If you ABS fails, you still have brakes. But ABS is a safety equipment so technically speaking, you CANNOT drive safely.

I was out yesterday and from time to time my ABS was kicking in (and the road was not all that snowy / icy either). So in my opinion any money you don't spend you will eventually spend it on car repairs.

As for fixing the ABS, that and (air bags) is something probably best left to dealer.

how to fix? take to dealer...bring check book....i had sensor trouble on my chevy.....abs was grabbing as i stopped even on dry road.....i replaced sensor 100 dollars...6 months later another one went out...i got my mechanic to remove abs fuse...safe? for me i drove 40 years without abs and did fine...you i dont know.many new drivers are horrified that we drove in the 1960s with no seat belts [thy were option] no air bags no padded dash ,,etc...up to u.. id guess abs pump to cost 1000 and more...good luck..really good luck
